This place was great!
I’m so glad we chose this hotel. At first glance we weren’t sure but once we got settled in you couldn’t tell us nothin’! The rooms were nice and clean, the lobby was comfortable, the front desk was polite and helpful, and the price was right. Their pool area was nice too, they have a cedar wood dry sauna, and an outdoor patio. In proximity to the hotel are lots of places tp eat, both restaurants and fast-food. Plus there’s plenty to see in Muskegon, we went to MI’s Adventure and saw historical sites. There are public beaches on the lake front that aren’t far either. We can’t wait to come back.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
This place has a microwave in the lobby, so don’t be afraid to buy food from the grocery store to save $$.

Location location location....
The location is the best factor that this hotel offers for us. Our son attends the local college so we like to visit a few times a year. It’s closely located to the beach, a nice disk golf course and our favorite restaurant "Hearthstone Bistro". The off season rates are reasonable and the rooms are comfortable. Cleanliness and amenities are lacking. This hotel must have been grand back in it’s day but now it’s a sad- broken down husk of it’s former self. We will more than likely continue using this hotel....

You MUST try the Hearthstone Bistro. Fine dining at its BEST! Well worth the two hour drive........
