walk to Watson
Watson is less than one mile mile away, although on the other side of the freeway and the route is only designed for motor vehicles. Really good Mexican restaurant next door.

This place and their other locations are so superior. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed by this traveler. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Don’t miss the breakfast or the food and drink they offer every evening. Very good!

hard to access!!!
I had not stayed at an Ayres Hotel or Motel before but I was impressed with the ones I’d seen off freeways for several years. All looked clean, well kept up and overall, impressive, as did the one I stayed at in Corona Ca. It looked bigger than most of the ones I’d seen. I found later the full buffet breakfast offerred was in the other of two buildings. I’d not been aware the motel had more than the building I stayed at. Also the buffet was taken down before noon, on a Sunday. Finally, despite very good instructions on locating the hotel, I found it extremely awkward to accesss AND exit from the freeway, requiring u-turns and crossing streets off the freeway. The same was true of an adjoining Denny’s, access to which is important to me in deciding which motel to stay at. Denny’s was accessed only thru a gas station’s driveway. The entire group of restaurants, etc, advertised on Ayres page was awkward, ill planned and could easily cause accidents to tourists unfamiliar with the area.
Traveler's tip
If you can familiarize yourself with the local traffic plus poor on and off ramps, and very poor access to restaurants, this is an ideal location in the Riverside area, at a superior hotel with an excellent helpful staff, which readily gives out explicit directions; all at competitive rates, with good amenities, which, however, are NOT well explained to guests, unfortunately.
