Needs Maintenance Now!

I chose this hotel beacause it is located a few miles from Homestead-Miami Speedway. Employees are very nice, rooms area clean; but hotel needs to be updated.

It’s cheap

I would recommend this hotel if your looking for something cheap. It is not very nice and not in a great area but it serves the purpose. I really didn’t care where I stayed as I wasn’t going to be there except to sleep. This is the second time I have been to this hotel and will probably stay there again.

THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE, I LIKED TOO MUCH. VERY CLEAN AND TRANQUILITY.

Beware of the Bed bugs

Cons: Everything was fine until we started flicking bed bugs off of the beds’ comforter. The blanket had holes that seemed to be where the bugs had their lunch. But then again, I went there in the summer. The Fridge had a loud noise. The shower head was moldy. You struggle to lock the bathroom door, but it’s better than any other hotel I’ve been to because it actually locks. One of the chairs had a broken leg. Pros: The Location is close to a lot of attractions around the area. The AC seemed new and easy to use, and it worked fine. The Microwave worked. The beds were kinda comfortable. You’ve got Wal-mart one mile away from you if you need anything. The Alligator farm is less than 6 miles away. The Everglades National Park’s entrance is about 10 miles away. Recommend it for a one-nighter or even two. Just make sure you call and confirm everything with them.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Don’t forget to utilize the discount coupons for the near-by attractions in the fliers that are in the hotel’s office. And, don’t buy bug spray from the local shops, go to the near-by Wal-Mart; it’s cheaper there. And, for gas, go to Wal-Mart, buy a gift card, go outside to the Wal-Mart gas station and fill your tank up using the gift card. 3 cents/gallon discount.

Old, but clean & cheap

As clean as the other motels in the area, and a little less expensive.

No complaints

Good place to spend a night or two. The room was well maintained. Had everything one typically needs. I would prefer going back here on my next trip to Miami as well even though it’s some 35 odd miles away from the South Beach. The only real hassle in the commute to Miami is that you got to take the turnpike and pay toll at least twice each way. Everything else was great though. 4 stars.

Capri restaraunt was across the road. Great food. Close to the National Everglade Park and Alligator Farm. Close to the entrance to the Florida Keys.

No continental breakfast as advertised

We stayed at the hotel for three days. Every morning they ran out of breakfast supplies, even fifteen minutes after opening. Coincidence? Probably not.

Good place to stay..

The stay was pleasant and the staff was friendly. The room ambience was good and I am satisfied over all.

Wouldn’t stay here again.

I understand you get what you pay for, but the musty wet smell of the carpet was pretty overbearing. The person 2 rooms down had the same complaint and kept their door open most of the evening. I had tried to register early after a redeye flight, but they wouldn’t consider it even though I was staying for several days.

florida motel

the location of the motel was very convenient. Located close to the everglades and the Florida keys. The room was not clean and the breakfast was very minimal. The phone would ring at random during the day and night. We were advised to unplug it. No attempt to repair it.

Solid place to stay in Homestead FL

Italian Resaurant across the street was OUTSTANDING! Check in and check out was great and the people friendly. Front desk staff helpful.

Cheap and convenient portal to Key West

Poor neighborhood evidenced by bank style slot exchange of key card. Clean but old AC. Very cheap and convenient location off freeway and fast food & gas.
