Okay hotel if you want to have easy access to Carowinds
Hotel could use a facelift. It is showing its age.

Not impressed at all
My room still had someone else’s bags in it, and their food in the refrigerator. I called the front desk and was assured that the room had been properly cleaned and that they would send someone right up to remove the items. 30 minutes laster, I had to carry everything down to the front desk for them.

Best Pillows and Wonderful, Friendly Staff
The hotel and the hotel room was spacious and clean and affordable. The beds were comfortable, but the thing that can keep people returning are the pillows. My husband had not been sleeping good until the night we stayed, he said that was the best night sleep in a long time. Needless to say I asked about the pillow content and then went to the store to find something most like their pillows. So, to finish this, YES we enjoyed our stay and will be using this hotel again for future Carowind trips. Thank you, Anita W.
Big Tips For Families: The hotel is right at the the road leading up to Carowind, there is a Shoneys’ just across and down the street(breakfast buffets) and down the street a ways in the opposite direction is the Wal-mart center with more eating places and I believe a grocery store. The other good thing is the hotel is on the same side of the road when you come off the highway so you don’t have to cross traffic.
