A mixed review
The room, breakfast, and price were all great. Check-in was confused, though. The desk clerk claimed that my credit card was denied. (Definitely not pleasant to be told that) Since the charge had already appeared on my credit card statement, I didn’t see how that could be possible. I gave him another card anyway, and I was not charged on the statement for that card so I don’t know what the mix-up was. Maybe he was new.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Take in Feast of the Hunter’s Moon at Fort Quiatenon near West Lafayette. Usually held in early October, it is a beautiful event.
