Not sure about the other reviews...but this place is great!
This is certainly not the Ritz but lets be honest....we vacation to see something besides our hotel room. With that in mind this place is great. Its not posh living but the beds are comfortable, the linens clean, the bathrooms maintained, the staff friendly, the breakfast filling, and the price reasonable for any resort town. I was extremely hesitant to stay here after reading the reviews but didn’t have much choice as all other hotels were booked. Turns out there was no reason to worry. I found the Green Sporting Club Hotel to be an excellent establishment and would certainly return in the future.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
You are about a 10 to 15 minute trek from the downtown/harbor with a small incline but if you head straight for the water you can follow the coast straight to town and that is a very nice view. Its worth saving the money and staying here, its a nice place!
