When I first arrived,they had me booked in a non-smoking room.I am a smoker and they accomidated my request for a smoking room.It had 2 beds instead of a king but that was ok with me as long as I could be comfortable in a smoking room and not have to go outside to light up.The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. I do wish they would splurge and use king size pillows instead of the small ones. I think they would save money in the long run with 2 king pillows as apposed to 4 small. The pool was fab. The only down side in the pool area was they did not have an attendant come out every once in a while just to pick up wet towels and clean up. The cont. breakfast was a big treat. Good coffee and food.Whenever I’m in Port A I will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express!!.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
The Salty Dog was the place to party on the Island. It is mostly locals and the karoke was a blast. I even played foosball.It has been 20 years since I played and it was the bomb.
