Does the trick
The hotel is very modern and has a lovely view of the river. Its a very plesant 5 minute walk from the centre of the oldtown which in summer is very busy with tourists from all over Europe. The rooms are very quiet and a bit larger than your normal hotel room. I personally was impressed with the friendly staff (typical for this region of Germany) who were only too happy to go out of their way to help.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Dresden old town is only 5 mintues walk away. For those of you who like to shop..... this should keep you amused for hours !
