Great city, great hotel.
Clean, well maintained, spacious rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Good, reasonably priced food for lunch and dinner.(breakfast is costly). Three stair access in lobby makes wheelchair access difficult.

Good hardware but poor service and maintanence
We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The room we checked in was in good shape, comfortable, and had everything standard. When it came to shower time, NO HOT WATER. Complained to frontdesk, the duty manager suggested we go to another room, 2 numbers away, for shower until the technician come back to work on the next day. We insisted on changing to a new room in which all features are normal. What we got was a smaller room. Next day, we were not given back the original room as promised and not informed whether the hot water problem was fixed. Overall speaking, the staff were NOT helpful. At the time we checked out, we heard another hotel guest angrily complaining (we didnt know about what). We would not recommend this hotel, although the other services and hotel features were not bad, e.g the restaurants and waiters. If you want to stay there you take your chance.

We are always eager to fulfill our guests needs and desires, which we have not accomplished in your specific case. We have had some difficulties with the hot water supply during that period, which was beyond our control and was fixed straight away. However, this does not justify the failure in service level which happened to you. I have to assure you that it is of paramount importance for us to provide our guests with perfect accommodation and highest service standards. I am deeply sorry that we could not fulfill that requirements in your specific case, but do hope that you give us another opportunity to proof our qualities.
