Not impressed
This hotel is under construction. The lobby area is just one wide barren open room. That didn’t really affect us though. The room was fairly large, but it couldn’t have been any more ’bare bones’. Not a single picture on a wall. The towels in the bathroom were TINY and threadbare. Halls smelled musty (fortunately the room didn’t). Curtains were ancient and awful. Carpet and bedspread were old and shabby. Good, though pricey, local restaurant across the street. The hotel does serve a decent omelet, but the coffee tasted like lukewarm brown water. The ocean view from the back of the lobby is gorgeous - no beach, but very pretty to look at For a single night this was tolerable, and the price was great for the area. I sure wouldn’t want to stay longer though.

Not impressed
Great location, nice staff... However, they are remodeling, so it’s kind of loud and dirty in there. The air conditioner didn’t get very cold, the room as so humid that the walls were "sweating" and the sheets felt wet at all times. I had to buy new sheets bc the one on the bed were old, smelled and were dirty. the towels were so old that they had holes in them. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels...worst one, hands down!

My favorite place in San Juan, Puerto Rico
Always the best place to stay. Staff is always helpful, hotel is always keeping up with the decor. Latest remodeling is great. Rooms are spacious and elegant. Location is great, close to restaurants and tourists attractions.
