Great bargain, up-and-coming spa
Excellent location with night-time views of lava pouring down the north face of Arenal Volcano. Wonderful hot pools, including a series of 7 cascading man-made small pools, and one warm pool with a swim-up bar & view of volcano. Food was okay. Service: trying real hard, but still learning, mostly very nice but sometimes a little clumsy. Take the family, kids will love this place- lots to do: zip lines, jungle hike, horseback riding, and plenty of pool time. Also, very affordable spa treatments for the grown-ups. Thumbs up!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Consider this as an alternative to Tabacon, which is much more expensive. This may be more of a family place, but isn’t for those accustomed to high-end spas.
