Comfortable and clean

The only thing I disliked were the ice cold pastries, the weak coffee and juice. Do not recommend the continental breakfast.

Great view of the ocean, right across the street! Shopping is very close. Breakfast is very simple muffins and coffee, juice but overall a very nice place

It’s okay

We stayed for two nites here, the room was "okay", the view from the bottom floor room of the Ocean wasn’t that great, they’re were trees blocking the view, but, you were close enough that you could listen to the waves crash on shore. The rooms weren’t too impressive but, they were funtional and comfortable enough, as long as you don’t expect too much. The free breakfest consisted of a muffin and coffee.

Good hotel for a stopover and is convenient to all the other businesses in this small town.

Excellent view of ocean from upper floors. The sound of the ocean to sleep by at night, and the relaxed atmosphere make the Crown Pacific my favorite place to stay in Depoe Bay.

Room was clean and well maintained. Bed was ok, Pillows were kind of thin. Good Depoe Bay location. Close to Lincoln City and Newport.

The mattress was not great for me, but I have back problems, so I am picky. Husband liked the bed. Room cleaning was at a minumum. The maid asked if I wanted it cleaned and I requested clean towels and some more coffee, she brought these while we were gone, but left the bed unmade, empty bottles around etc., did not clean up the room at all,(i.e. full trashcans) Staff was very friendly, hotel is in great location and easy to get too.The gas fireplace was a bonus, when it got cold. Would recommend to other travellers. Pleased with stay.

Not impressed

The Crown Pacific Depoe Bay did not impress us in our recent stay. The hotel has added many "features" to attract including in-room jacuzzi, swimming pool, and continental breakfast. However, the quality of these features is lacking. The hotel is right on highway 101, the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbour’s TVs. The bathroom floor was not very clean. The continental breakfast was percolated coffee and very sweet muffins. Unless you are booking late and need to stay in the area, we would recommend looking elsewhere for a good night’s rest.

Other than the hotel Depoe Bay is a very cute, family oriented seaside town. Both Lincoln City and Newport are within comfortable driving distance. There are seals in the harbour who are often thrown fish scraps. The rugged beach’s attraction is "spouting horns". We saw a whale blowing air in the water.

Nice and cozy

The only real complaint we had was that there is no air conditioning. This is not uncommon on the Oregon coast since it is rarely warm enough to warrent air conditioning. Unfortunately for us it was one of those very warm windless coast stays. It was beautiful outside but the hotel room was so stuffy and the only way to get fresh air was to leave the slider open at night and hope for a breeze.
