Too noisy

The room was very nice, but because it faced the parking lot I got woken up several times everynight by the snow clearing machinery.

Great Location! Beautiful Condo!

I stayed in a one bedroom condo! It was outstanding! Very Clean! Beautifully decorated! It had all the benefits of home with a much nicer view! Walking distance to the shops and Ski Lift! A great Town Square with lots of kids playing! I highly recommend this condo!

Really lovely, better than expected.

My wife and I found this place through Expedia and decided to take a chance. We visit Colorado regularly, but have never rented a condo before. We were optimistic, but somewhat nervous that it wouldn’t be what we expected. We were both very pleasantly surprised. The condo was part of a large complex, and functions very much like a hotel but without the room service and daily housekeeping. Do not be fooled that it is an intimate little condo on a mountainside. The facilities were clean and up-to-date. The kitchen in the condo was almost nicer than the one we have at home. We were there in the off-season, and so at times it felt we had the entire complex to ourselves (hot tubs, billiards room, pool, lifts, restaurants, etc). Access to parking and the River Run Village was as easy as can be. The restaurants in the village are all part of the resort company, and so we expected high prices and mediocre food. We found prices only slightly higher than driving the 15 minutes to Dillon for an ’independent’ restaurant and the quality was great. Our view was satisfactory, but we could only see the mountains when peering around the neighboring complex. We did have a couple of negatives. Our balcony didn’t have any furniture and the mattress was so hard that we had to buy a couple of body pillows at a local store in Dillon. All in all, we had a really wonderful 5 nights there, and we are already planning our next trip back to the area. We would strongly consider staying here again.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Keystone is about 9,500 feet above sea level. That’s high. If you’ve never been to the mountains before and are a flatlander, you need to understand that your body will complain for a day or two at this altitude. Shortness of breath, headaches, sleeplessness, etc, are not uncommon. Drink enormous amounts of water. Real Coke/Pepsi helps too. Keep your favorite headache medicine on hand too. Spending a night or two along the Front Range before heading up to Keystone isnt a bad idea either.
