The front desk staff was rude, the place is really rundown
The front desk person was quite rude and it was an argument to get the rooms I paid for, it was like negotiating to get non-smoking rooms. The security lights were out so it was quite dark in the back corner of the hotel by our rooms. I reserved king size non smoking, but all I was able to get was non smoking. The check in lady was terse. The lady who worked in the breakfast bar was very nice and there was good value there. The place was clean, but clearly the hotel has skipped a lot of maintenance.

Great value for short stays
Great value especially for a short stay. Staff helpful for the most part. Not the most luxurious stay, but comfortable, clean, and quiet... KEY CARDS WILL MALFUNCTION IF MAGNETIZED so keep them away from your digital devices

Rooms felt dingy despite "upgrades" broken faucets, stains in the ceiling, dust, grimy feel...
Thank goodness I was only there 2 nights. Next time I have to stay in Walterboro, I’ll pay a little more for a more comfortable and clean motel where things work and they actually do something about parties being held in the rooms. I was told I could move into another room away from the "partiers". Nice customer service Ramada! :-(
