Pleasant stay
Single rooms are nicely appointed, although rather small. A low-season stay would be preferable since rates go up significantly on days like the Monza F1 race. Location is ace for access to Porta Venezia metro station and the Corso Buenos Aires. Cafés, restaurants, and Italy’s fabled gelato shops are within arm’s reach in any direction. A long but pleasant walk from here to downtown as well, with only a few blocks to the public gardens. As for room amenities... My only peeve was the shower space, which is barely sufficient for a small guy, and the folding wall seems to get in the way when doing other things. The presence of a balcony is a big plus, although the metal shutters take a while to open; unfortunately they are integral to many buildings in Milan. As for when you need anything, the folks are always ready and willing to help you out. If you need to leave the building before breakfast time, they can make an espresso on request, and th e staff is generally very friendly. Complimentary croissants and biscuits are also on offer. All in all, a satisfying experience.

Roxy Hotel
Comfortable and clean hotel. Friendly staff. The room appears to have been recently renovated, which was nice. Amazing location, less than 5 mins from tram/metro. Cheap and cheerful.
