Adequate, but hot & stuffy
While the lobby and restaurant looked updated, our rooms furnishings were very old and frayed. There was NO A/C and even on a cool evening the room was uncomfortably warm - a small table fan just wasnt enough to draw air through the small, high windows. The food in the restaurant was expensive for what they served but there isnt anywhere else to eat near-by. Youll want to use the Hoppa bus to Heathrow - a cab ride will cost 50 pounds!

Not too bad for the price
In general, I think its a good hotel and I like its location - not too far from Heathrow airport but not (too close either). Be ready to hear airplanes taking off all day and night. If you are American - get ready for a small (I mean this!) room with no air conditioner, but most of the time you wont need it except for hot summer days which are rear. Staff is nice. Oh, dont take a black cab from/to the airport - theres shuttle bus fur much less money.

Needs improvement
We stayed here twice and found plumbing problems both times. The first time, the shower would stop running completely. The second time the toilet seat was broken and the bathroom sink leaked on the floor. For the price of the room, they should offer free internet but they dont. Instead, you will pay highly inflated rates for 24 hours of service.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Walk down to the store/post office and purchase an all day travel pass if you plan to tour London using the public transportation, which is quite efficient for getting around. The travel pass allows you to use buses and the tube all day for one price.
