The St. Regis San Francisco

A year ago

A year ago we were coming out of the SFMOMA, full of shopping bags, and a gentleman from the St. Regis, offered to hail a cab for us. We told him we were not guests at the hotel, but he just smiled, and proceeded to get us a cab. I was intrigued. This year, after our conference at another hotel was over, we stayed three luxurious nights at the St. Regis, and everybody was just as friendly, helpful and welcoming as the gentleman who hailed a cab for us the year prior. We are coming back next year.

The St. Regis is everything a hotel should be and more. It is beautiful, beautifully maintained, and well-located. The hotel staff went out of their way not only to address but to anticipate my every need. Fantastic!!

No need to leave the property. The restaurant is world-class and the spa and workout facilities rival any luxury facility.

St. Regis is worth it!

Our room was better than advertised with amenities not detailed in their websites description. The service from every staff member we interacted with was outstanding. Definitely consider staying here if your a looking for a luxurious experience!

Fantastic stay, well worth it

I stay in 8-10 hotels a year for pleasure and this is right near the top of my list of favorites. The location is great, the staff is very helpful, and the amenities are on par with other spots in SF. There is a house Bentley too, if dinner is close by have them give you a ride...

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The St Regis is a little bit of a walk from some of the traditional tourist-y things to see/do in SF so either plan on taking some cabs or wearing your sneakers...

Loved it!

When my husband and I were checking in, the woman at the front desk asked us where we were from (we are somewhat local) and we mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary. Shortly after checking in we received champagne and truffles with a note of congratulations, which I thought was a very nice touch. As other people had mentioned, our control panel for the room was not working and someone from Engineering had to come fix it, it was then I was told that you could control everything manually too, which would have been fine. Another point that keeps coming up is the fact that it was noisy. I didn’t notice ANY hotel noise whatsoever, however there were a lot of fire engine sounds coming from the street, but I’ve spent a lot of time in San Francisco and NYC and I just feel like it’s part of staying in the city, it didn’t bother me at all. Overall our stay was excellent and I would stay there again.

This hotel is very close to Union Square and Market street where there is excellent shopping. It is also within walking distance of the ferry building for those who want to check out the culinary side of San Francisco.

the room ,view, staff were excellent. great soaking tub the only minor complaint is they were a little skint with the amenities i had to ring for a shower cap and there were no bath salts over all very happy and would definitely recommend

Beautiful Hotel

We had an amazing stay at the St Regis, the staff were all friendly and attentive and the room was very comfortable and beautifully maintained.

It was so excellent that I would recommend this hotel to travelers who loves upper accommodations . The room is highly sophisticated , stylishly minimal and cozily modern . I also enjoyed staying in because its location .

Impressive modern San Francisco Hotel

The complementary personal butler was a nice touch to our stay. The rooms are very modern complemented with great wall & floor finishes. The touch screen panel is really cutting edge technology which controls the lighting, drapes, climate as well as accessing hotel services & amenities. Highly recommend this hotel to leisure & business travelers.

Top notch hotel

We stayed for 7 nights and had only pleasant experiences with the people who work there. Service was prompt and courteous. Our room was great - we had one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had in a hotel. The only negative is that the rooms do not have coffee makers.

We plan to visit San Francisco again soon.Hopefully there is room avaliable at the St Regis

The Hotel is very classey. Everyone is so professional and nice.The bellmen look so good in there uniforms.The room was simply beautiful and romatic. I loved the way the bathroom is set up. The bed was great. Can’t wait to return.

Great Room - Dysfunctional breakfast service

Everything was fabulous EXCEPT the breakfast service. The wait staff was dysfunctional; waited more than 20 minutes on 2 consecutive days for any interaction with the wait staff. After complaining, the manager (?) took the wrong order. Really pathetic!!

Amazing!!! I’ve stayed at many 5 star hotels and this was at the top!

Exceeded my expectations and if you are into hi-tech, it’s the place to be. 15 minute walk to the Marketplace & AT&T Park. Location is perfect for galeries, shows and shopping. the entire staff was great and service with a smile!
