Excellent location and stay there again
Nice clean hotel. We reserve hotel at last minute - two rooms for two couples. Upon our arrival, they upgraded our room with king suite and excellent lake view without any extra charge. Clean and big bathroom. Ferry terminal is just across from hotel. Nice breakfast room and they serve good cold and warm breakfast. We will stay again if we ever visit Lake District again.

Get freedom pass for 24 hr to hop off and on with Lake Windermere Ferry. You can visit all three town at Lake Windermere - Ambleside, Bowness and Lakeside from ferry. Beautiful view from ferry. Start early....Ferry start at 10:00 a.m.
