Relaxing Boutique Hotel

We have stayed many times this year in this Hotel due to regular family visits to Buenos Aires. The staff are amazing, welcoming, friendly, informative. The Hotel has a really nice feel to it with its excellent location right in the center of the city, and with quick walking access to so much of the city. We’re going back again next month.

Great Location, nice friendly service

This Hotel is very central, it’s clean, staff are lovely. Internet is not good at all, although it was fine sometimes but mostly not functional.

excellent hotel at reasonable price

My wife and I enjoyed staying at the Hotel Esplendor BA for its excellent central location near Cordoba and Florida Streets. It is one block from the pedestrian mall and at the corner of Galleria Pacifica, both of which are excellent shopping areas. It is near several good restaurants serving excellent local fares, like giant portion steaks. City buses are nearby. The hotel is an unpretentious office-like building with completely and tastefully refurbished interior. It has a contemporary flair, clean architecture with a centrum of open spaces and light, with rooms around its four corners. Our room is spacious, clean and simply decorated with clean bathroom. It provides free internet service (two computers with one broken down) which is not much in use. The hotel is served by a young staff who are informal and helpful. Oh yes, it serves an excellent breakfast of fruits and juices, great cups of coffee, hams and cheeses and a variety of bread and crossancts, all free for guests. We highly recommend this hotel.

Only look, bad condition, worst breakfast in buenos aires

No maitence, dirt bathroom, very poor breakfast. this good is only location, near of all atractions.

excellent value for money

This boutique hotel is located in the very center of Buenos Aires, two blocks from San Martin square. We had a comfortable room with a nice view on San Martin and (the busy, but with windows closed not noisy) Cordoba.

My Associates were Jealous!

Very nice boutique hotel, near tourist attractions, very courteous and helpful staff. I was an unaccempanied female on this trip, but I felt safe and well cared for. I liked the breakfast. The location is superb. Two working computers in the business center allowed for easy email. Even a chocolate on my pillow every evening! The photos of the rooms are accurate. It was just what I expected. My business associates were jealous that I received so much for a good price.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

El Tablio restaurant, out the front door, turn left, and walk about two blocks to Calle Paraguay, is very good for taste and value.

Good choice to be close of main attractions

Hotel is nice, clean, and well decorated. Service is good and people are gentle. breakfast is not the best in the world. Very well located: you can visit almos every attraction walking. Good choice for a weekend but if you want to stay more maybe you should look for something bigger.

If you depend on the internet connection, do not stay here.

nice and new. well located. made for tourists that do not depend to be in touch via internet. works sometimes others does not. staff was very concerned but - depended on the outside vendor - to fix. not entirely true since the problem is the signal not reaching most of the building.

Great design, excellente service ans spectacular location

It was my first time in buenos aires. The hotel was near all the important places for turism and right next to a nice mall. You could take a taxi right outside the front door. We had a bedroom at the back of the hotel, so there wasn’t any noice. The service was excellent aoee internet (wifi). We really liked our stay.

Perfect location

The hotel was in the center of the city, next to a shoppling Mall. Taxis easy to find, low cost (avg $3 us dollars). Employee’s service was very good.Good breakfeat (included), excellent coffee. The only issue was they have a very small closets.

The location of the hotel allow you to walk to differents areas (restaurants: Las lilas, shoppling: Galeria Pacifico & Calle Florida, parks, etc), but do not walk after 11:00 pm

Great hotel!

My wife and I just stayed at the Esplendor for a second time (first was 2 years ago). Happily the quality has been maintained, perhaps it is even better now. This is a very stylish boutique hotel in a suberb location. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are comparitively spacious, confortable and the etire hotel is equisitly decorated.

Great Location!

The location of the hotel was great! Staff was very helpful!! Ikea was definately the inspiration for the decor...but is that really such a bad thing??? The only concern for me would be how will the furniture hold up. Looks really cute know...but what will it look like in five years??? That aside, the hotel and it’s staff were great. It was a great choice!

An increrable and warm place

Our second honet moon was a over pleasure satisfaction by changing Splendor. Close to good shopping store and a huge facility to walk to other areas.The service personal are completely kind and gentle, the cleaness is perfect abd the total hotel enviroment is " chic". We loved to be there.That is our hotel in Buenos Aires.

Way Cool Hotel

The staff make this place! Very euro-modern, the art is magnificent. Some problems with the shower -- the door does not prevent massive leaks onto the floor, but still, the hotel is wonderful.

ESPLENDOR DE BUENOS AIRES, WHERE THE OLD MEETS THE NEW

The Splendor is part of the new trend of boutique hotels. It is ideally located in the very center of Buenos Aires, a few steps away from Buenos Aires’s nicest shopping mall, the Galerias Pacifico, a century old building. The staff is very young and extremely courteous. The decor is minimalist and tasty. I never though you could actually live in one of these minimalist decorated spaces, (no drawers nor shelves) but after finding some ways to accomodate my belongings i can say it was not an issue, even if i stayed 16 days. It doesnt have a gym but is part of a chain which has one nearby. I loved the collages of famous locals *evita, el che, etc made out of cookies and other elements. I would definetely repeat my experience.

Although barely mentioned in the travel guides, one of my favorite spots in buenos aires turned out to be the riverwalk known as Puerto Madero, where some of the best restaurantes are located. A very pleasant stroll plus nice meals and drinks at hand.

Location is excellent. Rooms are hip (austere). Ours was noisy and very warm. Service and breakfast was very good.

Excellent service

My son, my wife and I enjoyed our trip to Buenos Aires, part of the reason was for this hotel. Excellent service. I would suggest to resolve the problem of only 2 elevators (slow) and the breakfast area gets easily overcrowded. Thank you Alejandro

I didn’t give 5 in " overal satisfaction" just because the air condicionet was a litle bit noiser , but all the rest was well

Great Trendy Hotel

This hotel was fabulous. Had a feel for the young and trendy. Loved having a balcony even with the street noise. Staff very nice and accomodating. Had a little trouble with the hot water but they always managed to fix it. The room was comfortable and stylish. Would stay again and again.

You must eat at El Establos on San Martin not far from hotel. Also recommended DaDa on San Martin for outstanding food and drinks. Staff very friendly

Nice downtown hotel

Modern smaller hotel close to activities downtown. Rooms are minimalist and very clean. Lobby is small and the desk person is always busy but very helpful. Hotel restaurant is friendly and the food good.
