The Nicest Night You’ll Ever Spend in Prison
This hotel is very, very cool. It is converted from an old prison, which in turn had been converted from an old castle. All told, parts of the building date back as far as William the Conqueror. It’s a wonderful place to stay, the staff is attentive, a shopping mall is directly across the street, and the restaurant offers a fantastic English Breakfast (as well as the more standard Continental Breakfast, which is buffet-style).

Expensive, but a great play to stay.
Highly recommended. Restful place.
