Good for the price
There were dirty dishes in the elevator and hallways for far too long. The staff should have taken care of those much quicker. Great location, great price. But a breakfast-included deal would have been really nice for our needs. The nearest McDonald’s (where we ate breakfast) was over a mile away.

This is not the Hyatt brand I expected
Having stayed at various Hyatt properties this one was disappointing. We stayed during the Solheim Cup. The hotel had a welcome sign in the lobby, however, no transportations provisions to the competition despite having at least three large vehicles at the property. In addition, we attempted to eat in the restaurant on a Friday night at 9:00 p.m. The front desk told us it was open. We go into the restaurant and someone busing tables told us it was closed. The welcome info states it closes at 10:00 p.m. nightly. No refrigerators were available. Televisions need upgrading. The lobby is beautiful, but the planters don’t have enough rock in them and the liners are clearly exposed. This is not the Hyatt brand I am used to. I won’t go back.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
A great alternative to renting from the Avis in the lobby, is renting from Enterprise just around the corner for half the price, and they will come pick you up and will allow you to drop off the car at their airport location. Otherwise the shuttle, limo fee is 28.00 minimum to Midway Airport.

Great Hotel!
This was a great hotel with a spacious lobby and nice pool with an outdoor patio. The homemade pizza from the restaurant was to die for! We ate it outside after swimming. The rooms have a nice little sitting area separate from the beds. I also got the rate that included breakfast, it was only $30 extra for 4 of us total and the breakfast buffet was worth well over the $30... we could have never gone out for breakfast for that price! Only negative was that there was a charge for the business center and Wifi so no way to use a computer without paying (this is why the service got a "4" instead of a "5").
