What to expect: Vacationers and businesspeople are beckoned to this stylish hotel that sits right between the Pacific Ocean and a marina, yet is convenient to major companies and local attractions. Although the hotel overlooks the ocean, the actual beach is approximately two blocks away. In addition to the waves, guests are treated to views of passing watercraft, dolphins and pelicans, and a colony of sea lions.

Baleen Restaurant - Signature fine-dining restaurant overlooking the marina. Upstairs bar with fireplace, sofas, and chairs. Creative seafood specialties with some meat and poultry dishes. Dinner menu items may include: Soy Glazed Artic Char with Truffled Edamame Puree, Crispy Chow Mein Noodle Cake, and Ginger Buerre Blanc; Vanilla Poached New Zealand Grouper with Forbidden Black Rice and Mango Salsa Fresca; and Seafood Inspired Fresh Linguini with Fresh Fish and Shellfish and Dill Sauvignon Butter Sauce.
