Several good points
The hotel is in a great location, situated only 15 minutes walk away from the train station, surrounded by shops and restaurants, and immediately across the road from a mall. The free parking garage and Internet in the room are also nice touches. The bathroom, on the other hand, is large but poorly designed. Showering means the entire floor will be wet for the whole day (until housekeeping mops the next morning). I would stay there again, though, if I was in the area.
Traveler's tip on dining
Dandenong has its ’official’ Little India strip near the train station. It’s worth the 10 minute walk over there for a nice South Asian dinner.
