Excellent Customer Service - nice design and amenities
Very polite, friendly, attentive staff - always greeting us - seemed very genuine - not like some of the fake C.S. "hi, how are you" non-sense we get in the States all too often... Nice design, very spacious bathroom, very clean, wonderful sauna. Good location - walking distance to zoo, shopping, great connections on trains, 10 min. to Mitte, etc... Would have only very nice things to say about our experience at this hotel.
Upgrading to Club Etoile (additional $$/day) was totally worth it. We ate breakfast there every day, had snacks and drinks in the afternoon AND evening. Definitely helped bring meal costs down - as food can be quite expensive in Europe.

Will definitely go back to Concorde next time we’re in Berlin.
A great hotel in a great location. The staff was wonderful and helpful, the room was large and very comfortable. If you’re into fitness, thier fitness room is one of the best we’ve every used in our travels.

Go on the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial Walking Tour. Tour guide gives a wonderful educational tour of this concentration camp just outside Berlin.

Excellent Hotel
We went 5 days in Berlin and this hotel was EXCELLENT, one of the best hotels I have ever been, rooms very very spacious, bathrooms too, excellent service, the bell boys, concierge and front desk very helpful and nice. Everything was perfect.

Very nice hotel
My two teenagers and I stayed there two weeks ago and were very happy with this hotel. The room was large by european standards. The service was very efficient and friendly. The rollaway bed that I requested was not there but was brought into our room within 5 minutes. The hotel is very contemporary and is very quiet. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, though expensive (24 euros per person). The hotel is located near one of the major shopping streets in Berlin and also about a block or two from the subway. Another advantage of this hotel location is that it is about a block away from the sightseeing tour location, where the busses leave from.
We found that there were some nice german and italian restaurant/cafes within two blocks to eat at, and also at the large department store called Ka De We they have a wonderful buffet at their roof top restaurant.

The Concorde Berlin simply shines
Personnel, service, room, details. 6 stars experience for 4 stars price: our 2 days experience was superb. Smart move: don’t even consider any other hotel in Berlin. No. Eva & Fabiano from Northern California (SF Bay Area), 1st week of May 2008.
Traveler's tip on dining
Have diner at "Die Eselin Von A." restaurant, Kulmbacher Strasse 15, Berlin. About 5 blocks from the hotel, ask the hotel Concierge to call the restaurant manager for reservations. Hotel breakfast is not inexpensive, but worth it.

Perfect business locale
The Concorde is in a great location near public transportation and luxury shopping area but geared more to a corporate customer than a leisure traveler. Rooms were HUGE and well appointed.....great bathrooms too. However, common areas, restaurants and cocktail bar left me feeling very cold; not too inviting and never available at times that make sense for someone traveling on holiday. The place closes down at 10pm.....would be nice to have a cocktail upon return from dinner OR a pre-party drink before going out for a night on the town; atmosphere a bit dead. Also, "fitness area" is nothing more than a stairmaster and treadmill.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
no need to use cabs in Berlin, the public transportation system is incredible!

Definitely Will Stay Again, Highly Recommended
Great location: just one minute walk from the subway station and is in the center of the original West Berlin. Excellent Service and Room: rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel staff provide excellent service. When I had to wake up early in the morning to work (well, 5 am actually), I even got complimentary coffee when I asked for the room service. Besides, the use of business center, including the printing and copying, is free of charge. Definitely will recommend this to future travelers.
