Very nice, BUT.......
This is a charming and well maintained hotel and certainly top notch in the Carmel area. If you’re not a "foodie" I would steer away from the hotel’s restaurant, L’Aubergine, because the menu is a bit out of the ordinary. Our room rate included breakfast and we took a pass because we just didn’t find the selections to be enticing.

Excellent customer service!!! These people know what that term means. The breakfast was also excellent. Good location. No complaints. Will stay here again...

wonderful restaurant and but very expensive
a small but discomforting plumbing problem resulted in an imediate room change and upgrade, handled smoothly by staff , the remainder flawless French !!
