Nice place
Overall a pretty nice place. Convenient location close to the old town. The only issue is that for some reason they don’t offer rooms with queen size beds or maybe it’s considered a major upgrade. The hotel is fairly new and neat. The staff is nice.

To stay or not to stay
My husband and I stayed at the Congress Hotel while traveling with friends. Another couple we were traveling with had to change rooms because their first room smelled like a combination of "cigarette smoke and cat pee" and the second room smelled like smoke. As for us, we really enjoyed our room - it was reasonably priced, at the end of the hallway, *huge* and smelled just fine. I would recommend staying there, but speak up if your room doesn’t meet your satisfaction.
