Rooms are very depressing, seems like staying in a jail, staff is courteous though
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone coming from U.S. or anywhere, these small rooms with no space and furniture are very very depressing. I could not even stay one night in these rooms. You have no place to put your luggage and the room is as depressing as prisoner room- I think that is what they are potraying. The staff however, was courteous and understanding and the breakfast was good too

Great location. Unique hotel experience
Fun experience to stay in a jail. Hotel has is in a great location. Staff is kind. Rooms are, well, jail rooms with more people. Beds are new and comfortable. Friend stayed on the 1st floor on a Sat night and had a problem with the nightclub below. If this is a problem, just as for the 2nd or 3rd floor - we had no problem. Must walk the stairs though. Also, relatively inexpensive for the city/location. Would do it again.

Novel idea, but dependent on the weather
We liked the novelty of staying in a former "jail" and it was very clean...but our only complaint was since we went in August, it was so uncomfortable trying to sleep due to no air conditioning....even a small fan would have circulated the air and helped...perhaps a different room with larger windows would have helped....the continental breakfast was very good...beware of nearby "club" and noise....might not be so bad during the week...we were there on a Friday night...so, there was lots of partying going on....
