Great place to stay
We had a great experience at this hotel..when the desk clerk found out that it was our first visit to Edinburgh, he made sure to give us a room with a view of the castle. He also went out of his way to help us with computer connections in our room. The hotel is some distance from the main attractions in Edinburgh, but the bus stop is nearby. There is also a small shopping center across the street with some major stores, grocery & bank, etc.

If you expect small rooms as you find in most European hotels you will be comfortable.
The overall stay was good. The location is a little outside the center of the city but it is an easy bus ride to the city. Nice views of the castle and city from our room. I do not suggest the breakfast buffet. It was terrible and not worth the money. The rooms are small but we expected they would be. Edinburgh is so wonderful that you wouldnt want to spend much time in your hotel anyway.
