A bit out of the center
the hotel wasnt too terrible. you get what you pay for. in order to get to the Acropolis you would have to take a taxi, bus, or walk to the train station. they do have free internet in the room which is a plus.
This is not a place to stay with kids. This would be considered the more red light district of Athens.

great time
Hotel was old, next to a strip bar, main highway but buses. There were plenty of car dealers, some restaurants, and a store a couple blocks away. The room had no shower, weird half tub you had to sit and shower yourself, no curtain. The traffic noise was constant. The bus took us straight to the downtown for transfer to see the sights. For the price it was great. The Greeks do not like americans so tell them you are from Canada or Britain and they will warm up to you. It was great.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Take the bus downtown Athens and then the metro, taxi will drive you around but still for 10 euros he left us at the panthium steps. It was great. The flea market was incredible, bargain for your curios. It had all of our needs to buy gifts for everybody at affordable price. The island tours was great for the whole day but it was fast and when they mean be back or they will leave you as some tourist found it the hard way. Overall for the price best trip we have ever taken

Hotel location
This hotel is located to far from the center of Athens. You must take a bus to get into the city where all the sights, restaurants and shopping areas are. The bathroom facilities were meager, not enough towels, no shower curtain. There was considerable traffic noise all night. The restaurant menu was very limited. The included breakfest was very large.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you could get a map in English, I think you could do the sight on your own better then with a tour as the bus only stops at a few selected places and just drives by most others.
