Great place to stay
Our room had a great view of the lava flow. It appears that all rooms have the same view. There were two rocking chairs we could use on the patio or open the curtains and watch the show while lying in our bed. It was definitely mesmerizing to watch. The room was very clean. The front desk was very helpful in suggesting places to stay. The plants on the grounds were beautiful. The service at the restaurant was great even if the food was adequate. And also avoid the mixed drinks unless desparate. We used the restaurant if we needed a bite to eat. The included breakfast was great though. A great place to eat is in La Fortuna called Don Ruffino’s. You won’t be disappointed. This place was recommended by the front desk. We ordered the seafood platter and a steak. It was awesome and worth more than the price. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
