Great for Adults going to Dland!

Great experience with a modern feel. Nice room for the price and great location if your heading to Disneyland. Don’t bring the kids...more of an adult themed hotel and bar. Keep your prices the way they are and we’ll come back!

It has potential

Positives: -10-15 minute walk to Disneyland -Great pool and spa area open 24 hours -Tiki Bar and Bar/Lounge in lobby with music -Friendly Staff -Comfortable Bed -Clean Rooms -Good water pressure -Flatscreen TV Negatives: -Bedframe is the more modern box type and it sticks out beyond the mattress so both my fiance and I hit our shins on this several times, it sort of blends in with the carpet...I still have bruises on my shins -Freeway noise-you don’t notice it much when in your room but when you open the door or are outside of your room it is actually quite loud -Bathroom could be a bit cleaner--I mean it was mostly clean but there were a couple of pieces of hair and the shower tile could have been scrubbed better -Thin Walls??-we never heard other people, but our last day there they were doing maintenance on the bathroom next door and it sounded as though they were working on the pipes in the bathroom in our room -Paying for parking (which really was not so bad considering the great rate we got on the room) Overall this was a great place to stay for the price, even though they put us in a room on the 5th floor across from what looked like rooms converted into the hotel business office, right off the elevator, on the side of the building facing the freeway. Keep in mind...we were not there much.

It’s not a gang war

This is really a motel, not a hotel. Doors to the outside. The staff is very attentive and helpful and the hotel looks to be recently refurbished. It is conveniently near the not too near the Disney parks and away from the LA buzz. On the negative side, I was frightened awake by explosions that sounded like a gang war and was somewhat worried until I realized that it was the Disney nightly fireworks. There is a lot of road noise as well because it’s a motel and not properly insulated. However, it is a deal. So, can’t complain. The food is also inexpensive and great.

Staying in a hotel close by offsite from a conference is a great idea. It gives you enough distance from the hubub and still a conveniently small drive or walk.

"Good Eats"

Great easy location right after the Angel’s defeated the Yankees in extra innings. Our room was large and roomy, but the bath looked like it was still under construction, paint on the tile floor ect. The best part was we were so tried from the ball game so we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant K’ya, you can order these small street fair meals from around the world. They cost $3 to $5 per meal, I recommend you order them one at a time, so they are fresh and hot, what a wonderfull treat. You can also watch the Disney Fire Works from the hotel, the down side is we had ashes on our car the next morning, that has never happen. I would recommend staying at this hotel what a great price and good eat’s.

Nice place to stay

This hotel was a nice place to stay, not far from Disneyland and the fireworks show was great. The price was low, however, it never mentioned that there was a FEE to park at the hotel, beware of this. If your willing to park your own car it’s a certain fee per night, and a little larger if you let the valet park it for you. Other then the unexpected fee the hotel charged for parking your car it was a nice place to stay.

Close to Disney Land, but basically an upgraded motel

Best thing about this place is proximity to Disney. We were able to get there with a 10 minute walk and saved some cash by avoiding the Disney parking rates. As far as food and drinks go, the Ky’a restaurant was decent with prices to match, and the lounge was nice for enjoying a relaxing cocktail after a long day out. Staff was courteous and friendly. Downside is the proximity to the I-5 which literally runs next to the property. This could be a problem if you are sensitive to sounds that can do seep in the room. Our room was clean and spacious with a nice flat screen on the wall. However, it is obviously an upgraded motel so I wonder how different it is from staying at the Days Inn down the street. I would suggest this place for families planning to stay the day in Disneyland.

Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen was in Downtown Disney was awesome. Highly suggest this if you are into cajun-creole food. Food was great, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Prices were decent.

Could’ve been better

The place is a decent place to stay. Although the service is really poor at the front desk. They don’t have their stories/promises togother. ***front desk, please do not make promises to your guest that you are not able to do***

Surprisingly great!!!!!

With such a low price we were not expecting much, but we were greatly surprised at how wonderful the hotel was. We definitely will go back if we ever need a hotel near Disneyland.

Recommend with Reservations

REASON FOR STAY: Disneyland Visit THE POSITIVE: The shuttle to and from the park was convenient. The hotel was visually appealing. Interesting, unique decorating scheme. Lovely pool area and outside bar. Highly recommend the restaurant for a fun, tapas style dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were reassuringly clean and neat. THE NEGATIVE: There is multi-lane highway running alongside the hotel. The problem was the freeway noise. Also, when there was music at the bar/ pool area it was very loud as if in an attempt to drown out the freeway noise. Still, after long days and evenings at the park we were exhausted so the freeway noise didn’t keep us awake. The worst thing about the room resulted in still visible bruises and "owies" and stubbed toes for all four of us. The bed frame design was hazardous to toes. The bed placement in our room was dangerous. Ours was a two queen bed room. The bed nearest the bathroom was directly outside the bathroom doorway and the nearly knee-high, solid frame extended at least a foot past the doorway. As a result, every one of us walked into the bed frame at least once. Nights were worse. We eventually put bolsters around the end of the bed, but keeping them in place was tricky as the bathroom door opened out. IN CONCLUSION: I would stay at this hotel again, but ONLY if in a room without a bed that is near to or extends past the bathroom door.

Beautiful decor

Hotel Menage was like staying at a resort!!! Beautiful decor, exceptional pool area, really nice restaurant, happy hour hut was soo neat too:) What was even more amazing was that your in the perfect location from wherever you are at the hotel to watch the fireworks every night.... From the pool to just outside our bedroom. The kids loved it too. So much room and space outside by the pool to roam around. My husband and I like it because we got our special sights too from the happy hour bar to watching fireworks from the hot tub with kids and newly found disney friends visiting as well. If we go back next year were staying here hands down:):)

ok

The lobby and the pool area are very impressive, but that’s where it stops. The rooms are old although they may have been recently renovated. Service was good. Close to Disneyland but to walk you have to cross over freeway on and off ramps. The Anaheim Resort shuttle is very inconvenient even though it stops at the hotel. We regularly waited at least 40 minutes for the shuttle.

NOT Impressed!!!!

We stayed 4 nights and would probably never go back! We pulled in late at night and found out that we had to pay extra for parking...$10 a night!!! We were already upset about that, but tried to look past that inconvience and move on. Once we got to our rooms, we could tell right away that it was no where near a 4 star standard!! The walls where dirty and it looked like a 5 year old had patched up the holes in the walls and did a horrible job at it! Once we got unpacked and got ready to give our daughter her shower, we couldn’t regulate the water temperature at all. The water was either scalding hot or ice cold. To top it off the water pressure in the shower was barely enough to wash your hands in much less your entire body! Our experience was very dissapointing and we would not reccomend this hotel!

Very Nice though you pay for anything extra

The room and hotel are very nice. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have very nice things in them. The pool area is awesome as well. It is also very close to disneyland. The only drawbacks are that you have to pay 10 bucks a night for parking. On top of that you have to pay 4 bucks a person if you want a shuttle to disneyland. One or the other should be free. The only other drawback is that it is right next to the I-5 freeway so it is loud if you are out side. However, if you are in the room with the door closed the noise gets blocked out very well. Overall nice place though.

its ok...

the hotel was very nice..but i think the rooms should have a little more in them..the room service was great.. but a downside was that we asked to upgrade our room because we were on our honeymoon and they told us that we couldnt do that..they also wouldnt do anything special for us because we were not in the suit. so i was very dissatisfied with that part of it.

perfect for disney

great hotel, inexpensive with plenty amenities/luxuries friendly helpfull staff, fantastic food, good music all day long, hot tub 24 hrs! walking distance from disney.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

go for the valet service, its only a couple of dollars more than the parking, fast service when you need your car, and dont use it for disney. its a 5 minute walk. also have breakfast in the hotel, food is amazing and same price as other nearby restaurants.

A nice place to stay while visiting Disneyland

This was a nice hotel, I really felt like I got the most for my money. I had hoped that this was an inside hotel but it wasn’t (they usually don’t give you that information) I liked the fact that there was a city shuttle that took us to Disneyland and brought us back (the last shuttle left the park 30 mins after it closed). You can see the fireworks show from the balcony, it was really loud, so if you are there for quiet then you are at the wrong place. The rooms were decorated nice however, my husband did notice some flaws, like they charmed up the place with decor instead of focusing on smaller details. It wasn’t a stay at the Marriott, it was more like a themed and slightly more upscale Holiday Inn. The food was exotic and not as pricy as I would have thought.

Traveler's tip on dining

The only restaurant in walking distance is Shakey’s. We went there and had the lunch buffet, it was reasonable, there were a lot of items to choose from and the kids liked it. This is my recommendation for families.

nice hotel but expect kids...

we liked the hotel and its pool/bar/lounge. Good restaurant that is affordable and the pool is a great place to see the fireworks. The worst part was we booked this specific hotel because it seemed to be more adult oriented and would hopefully be a little more quiet but when we came back in the evening for a relaxing dip in the hottub it was overrun with at least 10 kids with maybe a few adults just lounging in chairs barely watching them. They had completely taken over the entire pool area from 7-10pm several nights in a row making it impossible to use the area at all, they were even running their remote control cars all over the place. There were no attempts made by the parents or the hotel to get the kids under control or at least make room for myself and my husband and other couples who came to use the hot tub. too bad because I would have gone there again to enjoy Disneyland with some quiet afterwards if there was any

Nice hotel very nice staff!

This hotel has been renovated and is very hip and cool. The rooms were comfortable but the noise from the freeway was intense. The food in the hotel was very good and the service top notch. One thing strange to me was the coffee in the room. Yuck! With a nice hotel like this I expected to have nice in room coffee and good coffee in the resturant but it was not good. But that is something thing can change.

I will never go back

This hotel tries to be an upscale hotel but is actually a badly painted over old building with very old plumbing and thin walls. The pool furniture was broken so relaxing there was even impossible.

Traveler's tip

With all of the choices around Disneyland, don’t let the price pull you in like it did my family.

I’d go back

My room included a sofa so it was pretty big and mirror and sink were outside of the toilet room which I thought was nice if my party had included more than one person. The only minus was that the window faced the balcony which also meant passersby. The Disney fireworks made up for that. The lobby kept up a resort feel with continuing Caribbean music. I observed an outdoor bar and pool but didn’t check them out as I was there just one night. Staff helpful and friendly. Restaurant menu great!!
