Laid Back Cozy
Nice hotel. Good location. Far enough from the Center yet close to museums and wonderful neighborhood cafes.

A little bit disappointed
The price/quality of this hotel is not 1 to 1. You pay more money for what you receive. We stayed 9 days and we were very disappointed with the maintenance of our room, they did not change the towels or sheets until we asked them. They have some horrible stairs (it seems pretty normal in Amsterdam). However, we have to say that the location is pretty good, the neighborhood is safe and the staff is nice. If you are visiting the city during 3 days probably this hotel could be a good idea.

It works.
This hotel was clean and it got the job done, though without any extra comforts that would make me want to go back. The shower was clean and hot, which was nice, with good water pressure. The hotel staff took care of my needs (austerely), but weren’t overly friendly or helpful.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
I would stay closer to the heart of the city, where you can stumble home after enjoying the Amsterdam nightlife. The Leidesplein area would be super fun, though potentially a bit noisy.
