Yikes!
I felt as if I had gone back in time to the 70s. A number of rooms had yellow caution tape surrounding them and signs in the windows that read ’Unsafe." It was quite an unsettling feeling. There were rednecks everywhere! I’m glad I only had to stay here one night. This hotel really gave me the creeps. Yikes!

OK, if you like motels.
did not like the motel aspect of the rooms opening right up to the parking lot. our room was located in the back of the building on the ground floor, which was creepy and had several warning signs to make sure to lock up your belongings and bring any valuables with you. the room itself was updated, clean and comfortable (and the door seemed heavy and secure). well equipped with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and blow-dryer. do not get the breakfast option as the dining room was not very appealing, food not impressive, and it does not offer any kind of discount, just applies $20 to your breakfast bill, so you have to order at least that much to get your money out of it. there is a waffle house right next door, which probably offers a better breakfast.

The condition of the rooms are amazing. they look like they have done some renovations and are very modern and up to date. Beds and pillows comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again if I was passing through Fredericksburg again.
