Location was PERFECT!
The location of Eden Rembrandt Square Hotel was just perfect! It is right in the heart of all the action. Eden Hotel has two ways to enter/exit so you can be either on the canal side or city side in just a few steps "Great"!! We were out and about most of the days/nights so it really didn’t matter to much that our room had a horrible view of a fire escape and the window was in the corner (tiny). The rug looked dirty but the bed was comfy. I think we would stay there again just because of its location. - Try it!

Nice hotel, great location!
We traveled to a few countries in Europe and this was the best hotel we stayed in. Nice modern, updated rooms with reliable AC that works. (Other hotels we stayed at had old furniture and issues with their AC units that didn’t work or cool the room off enough). The hotel is in a great location in the center of Rembrandt Square. Public transportation and many restaurants are right outside the hotel and you can walk to many main attractions within 5-10 mins. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Nice hotel, poor customer service
Overall, the hotel was very nice. Very clean and very nice to look at. Apparently our carpet was thoroughly stained, but I personally didn’t notice (my friend did), and it didn’t really effect the quality of our stay. It was in a good location as well. My only real complaint is that we had internet issues, and the staff was not very helpful about fixing it. Our issue was that we "weren’t checked in" according to their system. We called down about it several times. Eventually they said they would send someone to address it. We waited a while, no one came; so we went about our day. Also, the free internet is slow and you have to use an Ethernet cable, so only one person can be online at a time. Keep that in mind when they say they have internet available. You have to pay for high speed service. My suggestion, if you have an issue, go talk to the staff directly so they can’t "ignore" you.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Hotel is located right next to Rembrandt Square (eating and nightlife). It’s easy to get around regardless of the location because Amsterdam is so small, but I would argue that the hotel is in an especially good spot because it seems to be in the middle of everything, and it is very close to the station.
