Great hotel for price on weekends

Great hotel at a great price on the weekends when prices drop dramatically. The location was close to the main attractions. In addition, I was able to find free parking within a couple blocks of the hotel. Parking could be an issue on weekdays though because of the hotel’s location next to the EU buildings.

Comfortable and affordable

I love the free internet access while other hotels charge 10 Euros for an hour. This one is free!!! The room is modern, clean, big and comfortable. The only downside is the location but once you get to know the city, it isn’t so bad. It took me awhile to get there because the directions from expedia was not clear. But overall I love the hotel.

Brussels

Very nice. Parking was 30 euro (half the cost of the room). Right next to train station and a bus stops.

Not too bad

Overall my hotel stay at this hotel wasn’t bad. other than one major issue that the drain of the shower had a really bad odor coming out at night.. when you shower in the morning.. the whole bathroom stink, the smell was unbearable! location wasn’t the best, have a 10-15 minute walk to the metro station..

Brand new and 1 mile from everything

Most of the major monuments are within close proximity to this hotel. The hotel is really nice and clean. It’s a fairly new hotel so the decor is quite modern. The staff is friendly and can offer pretty useful information to help you get around. The cleaning staff is very prompt and do a thorough job. If you can get a good rate on this hotel, grab it! You will not be disappointed. NB: The supplemental breakfast is 25 euros so don’t be to quick to order (unless you are not the one footing the bill). The EU parliament is next door, the King’s palace, Leopold park, the Grand place, the cathedral, and the shopping districts are all located within 1 mile of the hotel. On a good day, one can take a nice walk and see all of these.

Traveler's tip

Must-sees; Royal palace, Leopold Park, Grand place, cathedral, shopping districts are within 1 mile of each other. Food is great, but expensive. Also, street signs, which have both French and Dutch names, are small/hard to spot as they are located on building walls. Maps are confusing. You will get to your destination but with some trouble. Although, when you get lost there is always something great to see. Visit Ghent if you get a chance. It is absolutely beautiful!

Very good deal

Rooms are very confortable and well appointed. Location is not ideal for tourism, however, there are buses close by (Place Luxembourg) wher you can get downtown inexpensively. Taxis are not expensive either. The only complaint is that the hotel does not have porters, and you have to take your bags to your room by yourself. Not expected at a four star hotel.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The hop on hop off bus station at Place Luxembourg is only two blocks away.

Belgium trap

Extremely expensive breakfast for nothing at all and many extras charges hotel policy thats triples figures to be paid. Good area but hotel not for families or leisure. Most apropriated for few days business and No services for such category. One night was enough.

Do not even try to have all family breakfast at the hotel otherwise will be harmfull for your pocket and stomach. I am sure to do not return

Great Hotel! In a business-oriented district, but close to everything.

We only stayed at the Radisson for one night, but we both really liked it’s modern, small but nice, comfortable room with its bright color scheme and great amenities. Staff was excellent, lobby spotless and boasted a very nice bar. Would definitely stay there again.

Traveler's tip on dining

There was a GREAT little coffee shop with breakfast just down the block at the Luxembourg square on the corner of Rue De Luxembourg - huge wood tables, newspapers and good espresso drinks and a nice continental style breakfast with jams, fresh breads, etc. Perfect!

Comfortable, modern hotel in Brussels

The RadisonSAS is well situated right next to the European Parliament, a short walk from Luxembourg station. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and modern. No old world charm, but plenty of new world convenience, including very good wireless connectivity. Although the hotel is close to the Luxembourg train station, that proved less useful than we had anticipated. There is no direct train from there to or from the airport (we ended up taking a bus). It was a fairly long, but nice, walk to the Grand Place.
