Very close to the center of Bucharest
A small, almost boutique type hotel, very close to the center of Bucharest. But being in a side street, outside noises were not a problem. The rooms were fashionable and comfortable. I had a good sleep and the breakfast was superb. The down side was that they failed in the two main reasons (apart the price) why I have chosen this hotel. They were the free internet connection from the rooms (both wired and wireless) and the Gym for my running addiction. The internet access was not available for some technical reasons they couldnt figure out and in the ultra compact gym there were no thread mill for runners, so it was totally useless for me.

Excellent choice
Extremely helpful and friendly staff all around. Breakfast buffet quality and variety is top notch (something for meat-and-eggs lovers as well as healthier and local options). Free hi-speed, in-room lan and general area wi-fi connections are such a pleasure to have. Centrally located between the downtown shopping areas and the cafes/restaurants. Near to metro and airport (no. 783 bus) bus route stops.
Traveler's tip
To go on the tour of the massive Palace of the Parliament complex, you must bring your passport for identification. The University metro stop has free and clean public restrooms. The no. 783 bus stop for the return trip to the airport is located in front of the historic Coltea Hospital. Look for the smallish bus sign. For great coffee drinks and pastries (and free wi-fi), stop in at the Cafepedia cafes.
