Best location in the district
Most of us are not accustomed to the level (and downright intimacy) of the service at this hotel. Excellent fitness center, great breakfast; even the bar service was superb. Don’t miss the happy hour on the 26th floor. Just make sure you don’t inadvertently turn on the "do not disturb" sign by the bed two days in a row.

One of Asia’s Best
I’ve stayed at the Marco Polo and have seen the Sofitel, but the Sheraton Xiamen is better. Rooms are beautiful and I certainly recommend the Executive Room floors for Club access with complimentary beverages, snacks and breakfast. The 6th floor pool and health club are terrific -spacious, well-equipped, glass ceiling over pool, partial views of the city. McDonald’s only a few blocks away at the large, fun to browse "SM Mall". Certainly one of my favorite hotels in Asia. Only improvement area is the western breakfast options ("3 out of 5"), not bad but not great.
