Beautiful and spacious, perfect for a longer stay
We were thrilled with the room, especially the laundry machine in the bathroom (we had a regular business suite), and the large soft! bed (a rarity in China). There was also a dvd player in the room which was great, the concierge was extremely helpful although their English was limited. For reference, the pool is 20rmb for use and when we visited it it was quite cool, so that was a bit of a disappointment. But overall the hotel was a great value for the price and a great location.
Traveler's tip on dining
There was a hot pot restaurant out the hotel to the right and down the stairs, which is a must-try for China visits. This hotel is also in the middle of a set of huge malls, which means more street food than fine dining, but nice and cheap if youre going for that.

The best for the price in Beijing
This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. In all ways it has been very satisfactory and we would stay again. We are familiar with Beijing which is a plus when staying here as this hotel has a very modest check in area and may not be easily found by all taxi drivers.
Having the hotel address printed in Chinese when arriving at the Beijing airport might prove helpful.

Recommened stay
Our stay was a very pleasant one. The location is right in the heart of all shopping, local food, and much shopping for trinkets. The people working at this location were a delight, and very helpful. At times during the busy portions of the days at times it was kind of tough to hail a cab as others would tend to beat us to the punch but the bellman would assist us with our needs every time without even asking.
Depending on what your interest are for dinning, there are plenty of places as you walk all around to grab bites to eat. You can also have the expensive dinner when you choose to.
