Good location
I chose this hotel because it was close to Joe Louis arena. The hotel was next to the gateway to Canada and was attached to the people mover which is a train that takes your around downtown fro 50 cents a ride. I took this to Greektown and had dinner while I was there. Very convienent location.

Looking forward to my next visit.
I was conducting business in the downtown area and the hotel was a five minute walk to the location. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and aim to please this is my third visit in two months and I will certainly be using them whenever I am in Detroit.
Traveler's tip on dining
Dining at Sweet lorraines is convienient but expensive the are other restaurants that are less expensive. Greektown has some reasonable restaurants and it is a short walk away from the hotel, I would recommend the breakfast buffet at the hotel.

Will definitely stay again
This hotel certainly live up to my expectations. I had a riverview room, however I was unable to see outside the window due to some condensation between the panels. I spoke with the front desk and they immediately changed my room. They were very pleasant and kept checking to see if I needed anything else to make my stay a rewarding experience. I will definitely be staying there in the future.
Traveler's tip on dining
I would recommend the Selden Blues restaurant for Sunday brunch the ambience and service are excellent. The price is reasonable for such an establishment.
