Great value!
The apartement hotel was a very pleasant surpise! Quiet neighborhood yet very close to beach, shopping and nightlife.I think it should have had at least two stars! There is a huge restaurant,(although we did not eat there)a computer for internet use at a reasonable charge, beautiful pool area and friendly staff. The apartment was very clean and functional with a small fridge, coffee maker and stove top(but no microwave)in the kitchen nook. Big, soft towels!Plenty of hot water and a great shower, good shelf space in the bathroom. Small bedroom with two twin beds, a huge closet with a rent-a-safe. The mattresses were a bit on the firm side for my comfort, but my cousin had no complaints.TV (free of charge!) with mostly Spanish and German channels, but also CNN- we were not there to watch TV though... I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Playa del Ingles is located on the Southern tip, and tends to be a bit windy.There is great bus service on the island, so no need to rent a car. Plenty of things to do for young and old!The local shopping is a bit intense...Sellers will drag you in and engage in hefty haggelinh. There are stores with "firm prises", but even those are flexible.There must be thousands of restaurants; my favorite located in the Tropical CC, where you sit overlooking the ocean. Bring good walking shoes!

Surprisingly nice
This hotel which is located in Playa Del Ingles was absolutely ok. This apartment hotel has all you need to have a wonderful stay there. The kitchen was nice with all the tools you need for cooking. One bed room with two beds, a nice clean bath room, and the living room had a TV, a sofa that could be turned into a bed for a third person. Absolutely nice as long as this is just a place to sleep.

Very close to Yumbo shopping center where a lot of Gay bars are located. But also very close to a huge beach with tons of people
