Wonderful hotel... look no further, seriously!
This is a perfect hotel for a relaxing stay in Santorini! The hotel is located in the smaller, less chaotic town of Firostefani, just a short 5-10 minute walk to the town of Fira. Fira gets quite crowded during the day with cruise ship passengers, so Firostefani is a great location choice. There are many great restaurants in Firostefani as well, just a few feet from the hotel. The hotel has beautiful and spacious rooms. We had an apartment style room with a queen sized bed, small kitchen and bathroom. Each room has an outside sitting area with a beautiful caldera view. The sunset is beautiful! Each morning, made to order breakfast is prepared by the hotel staff and delivered to your room. Breakfast choices consist of: toasted ham and cheese sandwiches, boiled eggs, toast and jam, various cookies and cakes, coffee and juice. The hotel manager was wonderful and personally arranged a tour of the island for us and gave us travel advice. A bus stop is conveniently located 2 minutes from the hotel, as is a car rental company. The hotel can also arrange pick up from the port. The only negative thing I can say about the hotel is that our room did not have a shower curtain. It took a little getting used to, but if you travel extensively in Greece, you will notice that this is a trend. Wonderful hotel, stop looking and book a room now!

Contact the hotel to arrange port or airport pick up. Take a boat tour to the volcano - the hotel can arrange the tour the day before.

The location was so beautiful
but we only got minimal attention, a lukewarm welcome and a room without a view! After negotiating we finally got a better located room, but it was smaller... The service was inconsistent: on a stormy day the maid had no time to do our room, on the last day (departure at 5 45 am) there was NO breakfast available. The hotel owner overcharged (18euro instead of 10euro) for the final cab ride to the airport. Next time, we’ll stay at a nicer place.

Awful experience
Negatives: -Mattress was about 1 inch thick and sat on a concrete slab. So uncomfortable it was hard to sleep. Room was dark and dank. -Breakfast was toast and a hardboiled egg and some ham. Awful. -Staff was extremely unhelpful and would not let us store our bags at hotel until our 5pm departure. -Pool is actually jacuzzi. Only 3 people can fit in at a time. No place to layout either. Positives:-Beautiful view and nice balcony.
