A nice choice
We went in the early spring and although the grounds needed maintenance from the winter months, we found that the hotel itself was nice and clean. The views from all parts of the hotel including our room were beautiful.

Stay elsewhere if you like the beach.
This hotel is modern, clean, comfortable and a good value, but do not stay at this hotel if you like the beach. The hotel has a beautiful private beach, but more often than not, you will have difficulty finding available lounge chairs on the beach. Although the private beach is a featured amenity, the hotel management is very insensitive to the needs of their beach loving guests. This hotel beach is the best beach amongst the private beaches in the bay and it attracts beachgoers from other hotels. However, the hotel management does not ensure that priority to the beach chairs be given to the guests. Also, the beach attendants allow selfish guests and non-guests to reserve/hold beach chairs for extended periods, which prevents other hotel guests from using those un-used reserved beach chairs. When both these points of contention were brought to the hotel managements attention, an apology was issued for the inconvenience we had experienced; but the hotel management did absolutely nothing to correct the situation. So, if you like the beach, do not stay at this hotel!!!
