I was happy with this hotel. It was convenient and comfortable for what you pay.

Never again!
Inept maid service, loose fitting room door that rattled any time another room door was opened or closed, pathetic breakfast offerings, tables in restaurant sticky beyound belief,out of commision hot tub, but these deficiencies could not over shadow the shabby, low maintainence condition of the property in general! I was able to fix the door problem by jamming a towel between the frame and the door.

Best place to stay in The Dalles
Good service and a great location! The room was clean and the grounds are very well taken care of. We loved how we could have breakfast (we had three meal choices to choose from) then go out for a little walk to the edge of the river to start our mornings. Also, there are remnants of a tiny Indian fishing village built in the late 1800s that you can explore nearby.
