Very pleasant stay! I would visit them again.

The hotel is nice. It has a european sytle breakfast buffet. From the advertisement I was led to believe it was American style but it wasn’t. It was acceptable though. The hotel does have access to a small lap pool but it is not what you you would expect. It is part of a fitness club and they use it for their water aerobic training. There are very short periods where open swimming is allowed but even then it is not for kids playing. The fitness center itself was great if you like to lift weights or use tread mills, excercise bikes, etc. The hotel staff was really helpful when ever asked for help. There was a misunderstanding about the number of family members I had versus the size of the room we were given through Expedia. The hotel modified and placed us in a larger room at no extra charge and showed no displeasure. The rooms were very clean, well kept, and comfortable. The hotel is about a 1/2 mile walk to a metro station and 1/4 mile walk to the nearest bus stop. The hotel is about 5 or 6 kilometers from the city center but the transit system is easy to use. It cost 1 euro per person to go anywhere on the subway line. 24 hour subway passes were available and would save money if you are going to multiple locations in the same day. We found that one pass was adequate to get us where we need to go in the downtown area and walked from there. The local area seemed safe to walk around as well. If I return to Rome I will contact this hotel again.

Traveler's tip on dining

There are limited restraunts in vicinity of the hotel. There are mostly just pizzarias nearby. There is is one nice Chinese restraunt but the portions are very small.

Nice Hotel

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was not good at giving directions. A couple of times we asked for walking directions only to find out they had pointed us in the right direction but didn’t give complete directions. The hotel is also located next to a school so during the day there was LOTS of screaming. The metro is several blocks away, but within walking distance.

Traveler's tip

The metro is several blocks away but it is still the best way to get into the center of the city and see the sights. It is easy to buy metro tickets at the station.

Good for Senior Citizens

The hotel seems to cater more to Senior citizens, which is not to say that it is bad. I’m younger and expected to see people my age. Overall the food at the resaurant is not too expensive. One good thing I liked was the Gym and swimming pool. They have arobic classes in the pool and at the workout room. The weight room is well equipped.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Not many local attractions nearby. Best way is to take the Metro.
