clean, good service, close to MTR and Victoria Park

Wonderful hotel, great location

This is the secnod time I have stayed at the L Hotel and both expereiences were very satisfactory. The hotel personnel were always accomatating and helpful. The location, across from the Tin Hau station is excellent for being able to get around Hong Kong.

i made the reservation for standard room, and i was upgraded to suite room. the location is great.

Good Hotel, Hard Beds

The location and hotel are great and convenient, but we found the beds to be hard as stone. If you’re ok with really hard beds, this is a good place, but if not, try an American chain on the Kowloon side.

Great hotel on location.

It is very good hotel. Rooms were great. Also location was good, right across from MTR.

Value for Money

L’Hotel is one of the better "mid-range" hotels I think, in a city where all accommodation is overpriced. Service is fine without going the extra mile you would expect at a 5 star, but always courteous. Rooms are comfortable and location in Causeway is very convenient base for sightseers. "Paddling" pool is tiny though and the fully equipped gym consists of 3 treadmills. So be warned. Otherwise, I would stay there again.

A good solution

The L-Hotel is a good solution for business and leisure travelers. The location in Tin Hau/Causeway Bay is convenient with the subway access just across the street and a solid infrastructure (bus and taxi stops, supermarkets, restaurants) in walking distance. The rooms have a nice modern design, are functional and have rather nice views, particularly if compared to other hotels in Hong Kong of the same category. The staff is not very flexible or eager but they get the job done and are sufficiently courteous to make a stay enjoyable.

Good Business Hotel

Typical HKG Size Hotel room with very convenient island location. No desk area but internet worked well. Hotel right across the street from a MTR Subway station and next to Victoria Park.

clean and comfortable

The hotel is very modern with very few discernible frills. The room was fairly small however we were there for only 2 nights and spent hardly any time in the hotel, so this wasn’t a problem. The pool is also small but on the top floor with stunning views over Hong Kong hotel. Rooms and communal areas were gleaming clean. Location is fantastic (opp the MTR)and only a 40HKD cab fare from Lan Kwai Fong. If you’re looking for something grand go somewhere else.

Great little hotel

My husband and I stayed at the L’Hotel for 6 nights in April 07 and really enjoyed it. It’s quite a small hotel as far as the common areas but it was really nice. The service was fantastic. The concierge were always standing by happy to assist us. They greeted us everyday and made us feel very welcomed. They were very warm. The lobby is quite small but they did offer 2 computers there with free internet access. There is a restaurant on the second floor that offered breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner. We went up there for high tea and it was very relaxing and quiet. The room was small but had an incredible view on the 36th floor. I recommend it.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Have breakfast at Cafe de Coral. It’s right outside the hotel about a 2 minute walk away. My husband and I ate there for $5 for both of us! Unbelievable. You get lots of food and coffee too.

convenient & nice

This is the second hotel in Causeway Bay I have stayed at. The room was a decent size and the staff was somewhat friendly and helpful, but not to the point I have grown used to at other asian destinations. One word of warning - the hotel is not really in Causeway Bay, and as such there are not what you would consider "conveniences" nearby - i.e. a place to stop for coffee on your way out in the morning. There is a drugstore, a fruit stand, and a 24-hour dim sum place though. The best part about it is that there’s a subway station directly across the street that will get you anywhere you want to go. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the train, and one stop over to the Causeway Bay station where you will find plenty of restaurants, a department store, etc. Two more stops will get you to Central or you can transfer to the trains that take you over to Kowloon.

This is good design hotel.

This hotel is near from Tin Hau MTR station. This hotel has good interior design and new.
