ok, but not great
In August, my fiance and I stayed in Paris a few nights in two different hotels. This was the more expensive, yet least favorite of the two. The "double" room, presented as a queen size bed, was actually two twin beds pushed together, but other than that the room was satisfactory enough. The street is a nice sidestreet a block behind the cafe where "Amelie" worked in the movie. The garbage collection is a bit noisy at 6am, but we were up anyway for a flight. The staff were very courteous.

Not impressed
Service was good, however the room was not very well maintained (walls peeling off!) and, although rooms in Europe are small, this one was tiny. Clerks Offered breakfast like it was included in price, and it turned out they charged for cereal and orange juice more than a good meal would’ve been in a good quality place. Location is good, close by to the subway station.

would stay there again
Hotel Le Relais was situated in a side street just a couple of blocks from Moulin Rouge and the metro. The hotel was quite charming ad although the room was extremley small it did have an excellent bathroom with good quality products. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The only negative was the breakfast was extremely overpriced .
