Unmainted hotel
The people were smoking in the hallways and our 2 rooms looked like they had recently been renovated but were never fully completed. There were funny holes in the walls were things had been previously on the wall. The service was poor and the location is terrible in relation to Florence. Very difficult to even drive into Florence from here.

great, spacious option- close to florence
Hotel was very well-decorated and modern. Wonderful breakfast included, short walk to train station- good base for exploring Florence! Excellent hotel!
Traveler's tip on dining
La Maison (turn right after leaving the hotel and walk a few blocks) has amazing pizza and food!

Hotel staff goes out of the way to be helpful and informative.
The evening staff took time to find information on train schedules and directions to our next hotel . Very pleasant experience.
