Good for money, recently renovated
very good deal - decent location near airport, on teh way to st. pete, not too far from downtown. hard to avoid somewhat seedy areas near the airpot in that town

Nice place
Crowne Plaza is a good place to stay if you’re looking for something nice and economical. The beds were a little smaller than I’m used to but comfortable. I had the hypo allergenic sheets and they were great,the whitest sheets I’ve seen(and scented too). The place was very clean and well taken care of. I liked the shampoo and soap they have, different than what you normally get. I only stayed 1 night so I can’t say much about the surroundings. I do know it’s not far from Raymond James stadium,if you’re looking to check out a game and want a place to stay. It’s very close to the Airport as well, which was a big plus for me. Well worth the money. Staff was nice as well. I would stay there again.

Excellent place to stay.
I’ve always enjoyed every Crowne Plaza I’ve stayed at when traveling. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is nice and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
