Great Hotel
Brand New, and shows it. 1st class all the way. The breakfast bar was exceptionally good: fresh and lots of choices. Above what I expected.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Dulles location of the Air and Space Museum was very good and convenient to the hotel. Worth a couple of hours or half day.

Great for shorter stays
This hotel is very clean, well kept, and in a good location. There is a grocery store, Target, and several restaurants within walking distances. They accept pets (for a fairly steep $150 one-time fee), and the entire hotel is non-smoking. The fitness center is has top of the line aerobic equipment and a flat panel tv. Theres pool, too (the wet-swimming kind, as well as the billiards-cue kind). My husband and I are staying at the hotel for a very extended period of time after a flood in our house. For that purpose, I wish there were a few more "home comforts" such as a comfortable sofa and chair to relax and watch tv. The room furnishings are beautiful, but much less functional and comfortable than I would wish after the 7th or 8th night. Also, our room is laid out in such a way that we are either tripping over each other or a piece of furniture on a daily basis. The kitchenette is ok for drinks, but not really suitable for in-room cooking, and the dinette table is next to useless for actual dining. Not that far from what you would expect from any hotel, though, but it would be a nice gesture for a "residence" hotel to really consider what it would be like to live there.
