very helpful staff
Staff were extremely helpful with driving directions and local event. Only drawback was that they were out of shampoo, which I did not pack expecting to get small samples which would have been enough for the one night stay. Microwave and refrigerator in room was very nice. Very nice Seaside location and low rates. Making waffles for breakfast in the lobby was fun! The local paper in the lobby was informative. I will reschedule another visit again if needing to stay the night for the Monterey Bay Jazz Festival or Monterey Bay Aquarium visit, but will call ahead to make sure they stock the room with shampoo before we get there.
Call ahead to make sure they will have everything your family will need for the stay, shampoo, driving directions around town, breakfast items, etc.

Not Impressed
I asked for non-smoking room. Didn’t get it and room reeked of smoke. Main lights on short timer so turned off automatically. Bathroom sink area burned out. Furniture and rug and surroundings mostly threadbare and well-used. Door security lock removed, broken or ? WiFi, refrigerator and microwave worked. Not good value.

Nice Place
It was a nice place for the money, no extravagances, not even a clock radio but it was clean and we were just there to sleep
